Overview

Information for Host Companies

IEBT Program

Designated by the U.S. Department of State as a J-1 training visa sponsor, ICLS' International Exchange and Business Training Program places talented international students and young professionals with American host companies for 3-18 month internships. Our host companies do not bear any cost for their candidate’s J-1 visa program and are in no way legally responsible for maintaining visa status- leaving them free to enjoy the benefits of hosting an international trainee.

Why Choose the J-1 Visa and ICLS?

With our network of international recruiting partners in 4 continents, IEBT/ICLS can keep up with your needs, whether you need an intern right away or for a project down the road.

Many companies receive inquiries from candidates but cannot provide visa support on their own. If you have chosen an international candidate for an internship or on-the-job training position, IEBT/ICLS will take care of your trainee’s J-1 visa application from start to finish.

To find out how IEBT/ICLS can benefit your company, please contact IEBT Program Staff at (202)639-8800 or at iebt@icls.com.

Host Institution Benefits

In addition to the “community goodwill” they generate from supporting the IEBT program and the State Department’s Exchange Visitor Program, host companies and organizations receive a myriad of meaningful benefits from their participation:

  • An understanding of different business cultures.

  • A fresh, cross-cultural perspective of one’s products and services.

  • A valuable, professional resource and liaison with the international community.

  • A skilled, motivated participant willing and capable of making a professional contribution, sharing new ideas, international experience and methods of management.

  • A potential long-term contract for future international business development.

  • A culturally enriching experience for both participant and host company/organization.

  • A foreign language resource.

  • An opportunity to improve the American image around the world.

How Do Host Companies Work With the J-1 Visa?
