CONSULTING
Training Goals: To learn American business practices,
HR/Training consulting and entrepreneurship
Training Length: 18 months
Program Start Date: June 1, 2008
Host Company Type: Human Resources/Training consulting company

Location: Brooklyn, New York (near public transportation)
Compensation: Unpaid for first 3 months. Travel and meal
remuneration for next 3 months. A small stipend will be considered
afterwards depending on performance.
Training Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours a day)

ON THE JOB TRAINING DESCRIPTION
Trainee will be working closely with the CEO in a busy entrepreneurial
environment. He or she will support a wide range of assignments and
client-centered projects in this busy consulting practice/small office.
The program begins with a comprehensive orientation, followed by specific
training on each aspect of work. Once orientation is complete, trainee
becomes an active member of the team as an administrator, learning about
running small offices, managing projects and developing a consulting
business. Depending on your performance and career interests, more
responsibilities will be considered, such as marketing research, customer
service, client communications, training design/development, office
management, recruitment and project management.
Through participating in on-going projects, trainee will gain experience in
research, design, communication, marketing/promotions and production as well
as gain general knowledge about American business practices and business
culture.

leadership development. Areas of expertise include: global leadership,
virtual team facilitation, performance management and cross-cultural

QUALIFICATIONS

A global IT and Telecommunications firm is looking for an
Information Technology and Communication Management intern for their
Washington DC office. The candidate must be fluent in English and Japanese
and have an IT security Network/ Engineering background. The chosen
candidate will receive valuable advanced training in IT and telecom
technology. This is a paid internship and will be for twelve months with the
