The
development of the evening program at ICLS stemmed from the many requests we
have had from students and clients who wish to continue their English
classes as they continue in their daily academic or professional lives.
We have designed the curriculum to highlight key units from our daytime
Intensive English program, including a heavy dose of practice in the
pronunciation and vowel sounds of American English and controlled
conversation based on current events and practical situations. Lessons
are taught using the ICLS approach to language teaching: Induced Discourse.
